Niels ‘t Hooft (editor in chief at Bashers) asked Bashers’ contributors to write a retrospective, consisting of memorable gaming moments in 2009. Looking back to my gaming year, I quickly came to realize it was a year worth remembering. Together with Thom Stokkel I wrote a short (much too short, indeed) “preview” of some of the stuff 2009 will have in store for gamers. Among more Indie-games and mobile gaming are interesting titles such as Afro Samurai (which turned out to be mediocre at best), Alan Wake and StarCraft II.
