Game review: Star Wars Battlefront – Elite Squadron (PSP) & Short opinion on God of War III (PS3) and Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)

As you may have noticed, I haven’t done many reviews the past few weeks. This doesn’t mean I’m not doing anything (on the contrary), but both the lack of new releases as well as some other interesting developments (more on that later this month) have contributed to the small amount of reviews.

The fact that my Star Wars Elite Squadron review aired just some weeks ago, is largely due to these developments. Although this game has a lot to offer, the PSP again proves to be a difficult platform in the shooter genre. Also, regardless of the supposed variety Elite Squadron has to offer, its singleplayer campaign is tediously repetitious, and the multiplayer feels awkard, thanks to contra-intuitive camera movements.

Besides this review, Eurogamer asked my opinion about some highly anticipated games, scheduled to be released in 2010. I’ve shared my enthousiasm about Super Mario Galaxy 2, as well as my confessions concerning God of War III. I hope to review at least one of these games, so be sure to check back here in the near future .
